This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used and disclosed by Anixter, Inc. and our subsidiaries and affiliated companies, including but not limited to Anixter Canada Inc., (collectively, "Anixter""we" or "our"). This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect when you access and use the services and features offered on anixter.com and any of our other websites or mobile applications that link to this policy (the "Sites").

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the end of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification). Language of the Privacy Policy

Where Anixter has provided a foreign translation of the English language version of this Privacy Policy, the translation is provided for your convenience only and you agree that the English language version of this Privacy Policy will govern your usage of the Sites. If there is any contradiction between the English language version of this Privacy Policy  and a translation, then the English language version will take precedence. Collection of Information

Information You Provide Us. We collect information you provide directly to us. In the event that you register for an enterprise account, we may also collect information about your authorized users, including their names, titles, telephone numbers, fax numbers and email addresses.

Information We Collect From Other Sources

We may also obtain information from other sources and combine that with information we collect through our Sites. For example, if you create or log into an account by using social network credentials, such as LinkedIn or Facebook, we will have access to certain information from that site, such as your name, account information and friends lists, in accordance with the authorization procedures determined by such social media site.

Use of Information

Anixter is based in the United States and the information we collect is governed by U.S. law. However, as Anixter operates internationally, we may need to make your information available to companies and/or branches within our group which may be located outside of the U.S., including in countries which may not provide the same level of protection of your information as in your home jurisdiction.

By accessing or using the Sites or otherwise providing information to us, you consent to the processing and transfer of information in and to the U.S. and to other countries.

Sharing of Information

We may share information about you as follows or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy:

a. Contract Customers
If you are a contract customer and would like to opt-out of receiving promotional postal mail and/or email from us, please notify your Account Manager. You may still receive promotional postal mail or email from other affiliated companies and Third Parties if they have received your email or postal address from other sources or as a result of their own transactions or experiences with you. You will also continue to receive promotional postal mail or email if you request to hear from us again.

b. Nevada Residents
Under Nevada SB 220, Nevada residents may submit an opt-out request regarding the sale of their Personally Identifiable Information (PII) collected through a website or online service.  Where applicable, you may submit your request to Opt-Out of the sale of Personal Information to Third Parties by submitting an online request at:
